It has rained heavily for 5 days, and that weather continues now for a 6th…only one opportunity to record outside, which was yesterday.
A pile of red bricks outside a newly completed dwelling.
Three kick-boxers skipping before a floor to ceiling wall length mirror.
The rain in Itaewon running ankle deep in the streets.
Another Seoksu Art Project work co-authored by Markus Saito and Han Sam - a restaurant as public art project aimed at sharing locally produced foods and cooking talent.

Sound installation on three caged CD players at Seoksu Market 3rd to 12th September 2010.
The concertina paper sculpture is made by Korean designer Jang Hyung Soon and shows Korean historical objects.
The blue and red cage carries a hibiscus design (Mu gung hwa) that appears on the ceramic roof tiles in the area where the field recordings were made.
The green and black cage reads ManAn haseyo in Hangul and Roman scripts - the Seoksu art project title.

The map isn`t so easy to read, but maybe I went to the southern-most edge of the Manan Old town today. Played two tones only all day.
I hope to be allowed to listen to the specific poetry of the everyday in the public places of Anyang.

Street live, accompanied by Polash and Kano…went along the opposite side of the river from our residence, over the Anyang Bridge and into the residential area between the river and the market there. We paused to make noises and record in five locations, taking 15-20 minutes in each place, Polash and Kano took both photographs and walked around with the recorder collecting field sounds, focusing on the immediate environment (other than my sounds)…Kano found a tape cassette on the road which was used, …also the contact microphone went in my mouth today.
